Peter Frederiksen

Inspired by and utilizing the familiar imagery of post-war mid-century Warner Brothers cartoons, my embroideries examine fear, panic, toxic masculinity, anxiety, anticipation, and humor all through the lens of the shared visual language of Looney Tunes cartoons. My hope is that these pieces feel like memories and that their violent nature causes their recollection to be questioned.
