James Overstreet

Comics, Cartoons, Toys and Movies are a major influence as to why I am an artist today. They inspire me and others around the world. I have been on countless adventures, taken to other worlds, met so many unforgettable characters. My love for art + art history also began from these forms of creation. Practicing relentlessly of recreating characters, creating my own stories which inevitably led me to art school. Where I fell in love with artists throughout time, Velasquez, Van Gogh, Caravaggio (many, many more). Where I fell in love with paint itself. I want to share my knowledge of art and creation in hopes of inspiring others as these forms of media have done to me.
